The Nasty Letter

It started today on 12 September 2012 in class when the teacher wasn’t around. My friend (Now an ex-friend) passed me a 5 paged letter. The handwriting already told me it was the girl, A (Not revealing name) who sent this. I opened it up and found billions of words, mean and foul words. It all said at the end was that I had nerdy glasses, snot-face, bucked teeth and many other words I wish to not to say. The ex-friend tried to snatch back the letter from me. That’s where I fight back because I couldn’t take A’s bullies anymore. I decided to look for our counselling teacher. But sadly, the ex-friend managed to take back the letter. A and her dumped it into the rain water outside the class and into the dirty dustbin. I held back the tears for an hour and until everyone was gone for recess. My true friend and I dug through the bin and found the letter. It was still clear and so we went to see the counselling teacher. I cried all the way until the counselling was over. True friend and I washed up and went back to class. Too embarrass to let everyone see I cried, I hid my face with my book. But still everyone could see my red and puffy eyes. I sat at my group where my crush was. They just looked at me. My crush, well of course, asked me if I was okay. I just nodded and I looked up at my ex-friend and A, which I swear I will get stronger as WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU, MAKES YOU STRONGER!

I hope the counselor will ensure your well being and safety from this point forward. You or anyone for that matter never deserves to be treated with such cruelty. Every single school needs UP-STANDERS, this includes all school personnel and staff as well. Peer abuse is a huge problem in our schools. You are brave and hope this abuse has stopped.
